One of the most unusual and artistic films in American indie history,Β The Man Without a WorldΒ is credited to Soviet director Yevgeny Antinov . . . but that is far from the whole truth. Antinov is a persona created by contemporary filmmaker Eleanor Antin, a renowned artist, author, and performer. The film is a quirky, comic portrait of a Polish shtetl whose residents must survive both crushing poverty and their own internal political, cultural, and religious divisions. An amazing cast and crew includes Pier Marton, Christine Berry, Anna Henriques, Marcia Goodman, Don Sommese, and more.
