Join Spark Newton for a free afternoon of live music, creativity, and fun for all ages at the Trio Newton Courtyard! Boston-based singer, songwriter and keyboardist Malayna Knox will take the stage for an upbeat mix of her original music and favorite covers, bringing her soulful vocals and infectious energy to Newton.
Malayna Knox is a powerhouse vocalist with more than 12 years of professional experience. A Berklee College of Music graduate, she performs in English, French, Spanish and Italian and has released original music on Spotify. Make an afternoon of it with friends and family! MIDA and Fuji at Newton will be offering free samples as well as food available for purchase. Kids can get creative with sidewalk chalk and choose their favorite shoe to color from a collection of coloring pages provided by The Barn. You can also try your hand at black-out poetry, with an activity led by Grey Held and Elizabeth Lund β and if youβre feeling brave, share it with the audience!
This event is free and open to all ages.
