Stained Glass Origami Crane with Margaret Stevens

Come and create a 3D Origami Crane in beautiful stained glass!

Students will choose their glass, cut out the shapes and wrap each piece in copper foil tape. Then using a template, they will learn how to assemble the pieces into a 3D Origami Crane. They will also add hanging rings so their crane can be hung up in their home or sit on a desk or shelf.

Note:

–Stained glass solder is comprised of 60% tin and 40% lead. Lead can be harmful if ingested, so proper hand washing is recommended before eating and drinking. Safety glasses and gloves may be worn as well.

-Copper foil is used in this class.
