ArtsBoston is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the arts.

The Nancy and Edward Roberts Studio Theatre is a flexible black box theatre that accommodates between 157 and 250 patrons, depending on the seating configurations. In standard stadium-style seating, the space comfortably accommodates 209. The Roberts Theatre has up to 38 wheelchair seats, depending on configuration. The studio theatre is named in honor of long-time Huntington donors and subscribers Nancy and Edward Roberts. It is also the resident space for Speakeasy Stage. Please see their Accessibility site for more detailed information.

The Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA is the result of a joint venture between the Huntington Theatre Company and the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA). The Calderwood Pavilion — housing the 372-seat Virginia Wimberly Theatre and the Nancy and Edward Roberts Studio Theatre (with flexible seating and a maximum capacity of 235), as well as rehearsal halls and meeting spaces — is the first new theatre built in Boston in more than 75 years. The Huntington Theatre Company manages the facility and programs it cooperatively with the BCA.
